I participated in this with I'm also participating in the Lash Boosting 4 Week Challenge.
Bzzagent sent me the mascara and serum FREE to try for four weeks and here are my results!

2. after 4 weeks with mascara

My Opinion:

Did I use it faithfully? No. When I did forget to put it on at night, I put it on in the morning. Most of the month I put it on twice a day.

The Serum:

This stuff is said to help your lashes not to fall out and to make them look fuller. Er, my lashes never fell out before I used this product. I noticed significant lash loss while removing my eye makeup while using this.  I also received some irritation in my left eye. Nothing visible it just would sting! I still used it determined to get my full 4 weeks just to be sure. Some have complained that the wand is awkward to use. I didn’t find it awkward just a bit messy. This didn’t bother me though because it made sure to coat everything well. I was not good at remembering to apply it every night and/or morning.

Did it Work?

I don’t think so. Not enough to make a difference.
I feel I have less lashes because of all the fall out and NOT fuller lashes.

The Mascara:

When I first tried it, I hated it. I had other mascaras that cost way less that gave me better looking lashes. The black wasn’t black enough. At times I would catch the white of the Primer later in the day. Maybe the blackest black mascara would take care of this? Either way, to make my lashes look full it had to clump. I’ve never done well with primers because of the extra step and time it takes.  This one wasn’t worth it.
By the fourth week, I had gotten better at applying. I knew now to get fuller lashes I had to clump the primer on thick, then use the mascara end. It looked much much better! It gives me a nice cat eye look because it extends nicely outwards of my eyes. Has the consistency improved in a month’s time after use? I don’t know if the change was me or it, but I am liking it much better now. I did try the serum before applying primer and mascara, but it just made it too clumpy and stuck together.  Not a good combination for my lashes. It also flakes under my eyes.

Final Results:

Will I buy again? More than likely: NO!  Too expensive and does not meet expectations. Although it does have some good points, the cons far outnumber the pros.
Will I recommend? More than likely: NO! I have others that work great for volume even without the promises…
1-5 Scale? Serum: 2.0  Mascara: 3.75(after 4 weeks)

Have you tried this one? What did you think?

That’s it Folks!
Have a great week!
